Book Club Meetings
Bringing the par-tay to a library near you (if you live in Lloydminster, that is...)
I am a big fan of libraries, both as a reader and an author. And, if you’re worried about authors missing out on royalties because you’re reading their book through the library, don’t. Every year, we receive money through the Public Lending Rights program, for any titles we’ve registered. It eventually outweighs most people’s royalty cheques.
I’ve been doing in events in libraries this summer and fall — readings from the new book, and discussing some of the themes, and events, in both my novels with readers. But I’m doing something new to me in November. On Sunday, November 3, the Lloydminster library is hosting a book club event. So, if you’ve read All That’s Left, please join us at 1:30 pm at the library (in the mall).
(If you haven’t read the book, just be advised that there will likely be spoilers).
And if you’d like to discuss All That’s Left at your book club, I have a book club kit, which includes discussion questions, drink recipes, a suggested play list and links to a couple of videos (the videos do contain spoilers, so read the book first).
Hope to see you in Lloyd!
Definitely read the book ahead of time. You really want to avoid spoilers. 😁
